The Estonian Golf & Country Club (EGCC) is only two-and-a-half flying hours from the UK, and is one of Europe’s few remaining ‘undiscovered’ golf destinations.

The club is one of just eight official European Tour courses in Europe and the club offers 27 holes of golf located within a beautiful natural setting: the 18-hole Sea Course and the nine-hole Stone Course.
The Azalea Group has been contracted to supply all PR and marketing requirements for the EGCC in 2009.
This involved creating a timeline of strategic activity focusing on generating substantial pictorial copy in the leading golf magazines and national papers within the UK, showcasing the resorts stunning location and natural setting.

Pictorial copy was then backed up with comprehensive editorial, sourced through hosting highly-successful golf-themed press trips to the resort, and the capital city Tallinn.
These trips were organised from start to finish by Azalea and included one night-golf trip and a Ryder Cup-style competition.
Azalea ensured the maximum coverage from all attendees by hand-picking each guest based upon a targeted press list, predetermined from the initial timeline of strategic activity designed to guarantee the maximum exposure for the club to the UK’s golfing press.
