The company's UK managing director, Sean has 15 years experience in the golf and travel sectors with Longshot Golf, and more recently as sales and marketing director at Barwell. An innovative thinker, he has great insight into consumer travel trends.
An experienced marketeer in tune with golfing consumers, Andy launched the London Golf Show in 2005, and the Sky Sports televised Disabled British Open Golf Championships in 2009. He has an in-depth knowledge of the marketing channels, networks and opportunities available within the golf sector.
A proven Chartered Marketer with a decade of golf, leisure and tourism experience, Dan joined Azalea in 2012 following marketing roles in the hotel and resort sectors. He was also a graduate of the prestigious Marketing Academy, run by the Marketing Hall of Legends (UK).
A senior sports journalist with many years' experience on newspapers and magazines in England, Dave heads up Azalea's media department as editorial director. Also presents weekend football coverage on local radio and has even performed stand-up comedy at Jongleurs. Celebrates 20 years as a contributor to GMè in 2017.
A fully qualified journalist, Pete has worked for 20 years in the sports and travel media sectors. He has a first class list of editorial contacts, and his love and knowledge for the game of golf is evident in his writing. He is a regular contributor to Golf Management Europe.
An experienced professional within the golf and leisure industry. Luke has worked for a variety of golf and leisure clubs, including a five-star facility in Dubai. He has a degree in Sport Management (Golf) from Bournemouth University and in 2013 he was invited to present at an annual conference hosted by the European Association of Sport Management.
After earning a degree in Media & Communications, Steve has gained almost 20 years’ experience in journalism covering high-end professional sport for The News in Portsmouth and The Bournemouth Daily Echo. He joined Azalea’s editorial team in 2016 and brings energy and enthusiasm to delivering fresh and engaging content for a host of diverse clients.
Nick IveA former newspaper journalist with 20 years’ experience on news and sports desks, Nick was chief football writer at the Reading Evening Post before roles at The Oxford Mail and The Sun, where he worked as a sub-editor. After a brief stint as a corporate copywriter, Nick joined Azalea’s editorial team in March 2017.
With more than 15
years’ experience in the golf industry, Matt started out as a trainee golf
professional before management roles with American Golf and, more recently,
Foremost Golf. Matt joined Azalea in March 2017 to head up the company’s events
division and is responsible for the delivery of B2B and B2C event solutions –
both in the UK and overseas.
Recently graduated from university, James heads up Azalea's expanding social media division. Before joining the company, James established himself as a leading broadcast journalist on a number of radio stations in the south of England reporting on local and national stories and hosting a weekly football show. James is passionate about all things social.
